About Me!
My name is Serenbe Evans. I attend the Waldorf School of Atlanta, and for my 8th-grade project, I created a website to inform people about the benefits of aerial arts. Aerial not only improves strength and flexibility but also supports brain healing and helps create strong neurological connections. One of the most fascinating things about aerial is that anyone can do it! and it can benefit everyone in different ways. Aerial requires trust, balance, strength, and stamina in ways that are different for everyone. Aerial is also a socially enriching environment where you can meet new people and create artistic pieces. Because the sport combines dance and acrobatics, it is both really fun and really interesting! Aerial Arts not only improves health physicaly, mentally, and socially in ways distinct from other sports, but it is also a female-dominated sport that requires upper-body strength, core strength, flexibility, and trust. This project has shown me that you don't have to be a talented gymnast or dancer to enjoy aerial and that it improves your health and well-being in ways that are so different from other sports.

Meet my mentor!
My mentor, Mone't, who teaches at Challenge Aerial studio, helped me create this website: find testimonials, make content, learn about aerial, and teach me in our studio every day. She helped me with everything I came up with for the website, and she supported me with learning more about aerial.
